Faculty Awards application timeline:
- Friday, March 1, 2024 by Noon – Nominations due to the Faculty Success Office for review by the Faculty Awards Committee
- Friday, March 8, 2024 – Faculty Awards Committee submits ranked proposals to the Provost
- Monday, March 18, 2024 – Notification of faculty
Faculty Development leave opportunities, AY 2024–25
Send the electronically signed cover sheet and electronic copies of the proposal and the faculty member’s vita to the Faculty Success Office (facultysuccess@twu.edu) no later than Monday, March 11, 2024 for Academic Year 2024-25 leaves.
Faculty Development grant opportunities, 2024-25
Faculty from any discipline may seek grant funding for faculty development activities that will contribute to the applicant’s teaching, scholarly, or service expertise. These small grants (usually in the $1000 – $1500 range) may be used to develop a new skill in teaching, scholarship, or leadership. All proposals must be tied to specific goals for the faculty member, the academic component, college, or the university.
Application timeline
Note: Earlier submissions are invited in order to give approvers appropriate time for decision-making. These are the latest dates by which proposals must be received and decisions made.
- Monday February 26, 2024 – Proposals due to academic component administrator(s)
- Monday March 4, 2024 – Proposals due in Office of the Dean.
- Monday March 11, 2024 – Proposals due in Faculty Success Office for review by the Faculty Development Leave Committee.
- Monday April 1, 2024 – Faculty Development Leave Committee submits ranked proposals to the Provost.
- Monday April 8, 2024 – Notification of faculty.
Uhlir Endowed Fellowship in Higher Education Administration
April 24, 2024 - Proposals due in the Faculty Success Office for review by the Uhlir Awards Committee.
