Education Navigation
Education Navigation helps underserved students, including DACA and undocumented students, navigate college completion.
At TWU the program helps students reach their personal and academic goals by working to remove barriers that may arise. The primary benefit of participating in our program is having that one-on-one mentorship.
The program helps them establish goals and address any questions or concerns. A graduation cord is offered upon successful graduation and program completion
Services include the following:
- One-on-one mentorship
- Navigating the college system
- Study skills
- Time management
- Budgeting
- Strategic financial assistance
- Job preparedness (including interview skills, resume building, and internship assistance)
Interested students may email Katie Holloman with any questions to complete the form below.
Making a Difference
Education Navigation helped me get started! They helped me look over my degree plan, schedule my classes and navigate my way around college. My assigned navigator and I discussed my classes, finances, goals and obstacles. The meetings really helped me with accountability. They provided me with the resources I needed to complete my education. TWU DACA student
