An advocacy group for students going through the student conduct process. Peer advocates meet with the students before the hearing process to explain the hearing process and assist the student with their case. Peer advocates also help ensure that there is no bias during the process.
Social Change Peer Educators
The purpose of Social Change Peer Educators is to heighten awareness and sensitivity regarding social issues within the Texas Woman’s University community through education, programming and training. They are students who demonstrate a passion for diversity, inclusion, social justice and improving campus culture. In doing so, Social Change Peer Educators will develop individual, group and societal values that will foster leadership and encourage positive civic change.
Speak up provides opportunities for students to learn more about the world around them. Various events are held annually designed to promote civic engagement and discourse through education and empowerment.
Free Speech Initiative
We place free speech boards around campus. Each week we display a new writing prompt and allow students to freely express themselves on the boards.
