Dear Members of the TWU Community:
As we wrap up this school year, I wanted to give you a quick final update on the great support and recognition we received this year from the Texas Legislature and Governor Abbott.
Although we may not agree on every issue, it is important to recognize that all of our locally elected representatives worked hard for TWU in 2015, and none of the accomplishments listed below would have happened without their hard work on our behalf. I would especially like to thank our State Senators, Craig Estes and Jane Nelson, and our State Representative Myra Crownover.
I would also like to call your attention to a new section on TWU’s website that captures the work of our new Legislative Affairs office, which is led by Director Kevin Cruser.
