Panopto and Video Services

Panopto is a video capture application that is used to create recordings that are then made available for review on-demand by students in your courses. Panopto is straightforward and easy to implement. You can centrally manage your recorded clips, lectures and announcements, and also store additional classroom videos and 3rd-party media assets in a secure, searchable video platform that seamlessly integrates with our Canvas LMS.

THE CFE regularly offers two distinct Panopto Workshops:

Workshop Level I
Learn how to record unique video messages for your students on your office or home computer. Create a personal presence for your online and hybrid classes by integrating engaging videos and learn about captioning and accessibility.

Workshop Level II  
This more advanced workshop will teach you how to integrate PPT presentations, add your own narration, and show you how to tweak captions for enhanced accessibility.
