Student Creative Arts and Research Symposium

Symposium Presenters and Faculty Sponsors,

As many of you are aware, TWU is monitoring and responding to the Coronavirus situation and is committed to ensuring the safety of the TWU community. All event organizers have been asked to review the risk factors for events and activities on campus, and as a result, the 2020 Student Creative Arts and Research Symposium committee plans to reschedule the 2020 Student Symposium to the summer. The planning committee will begin making recommendations for rescheduling, and we will communicate with faculty and students individually regarding the presentations as soon more definite plans are established.

In addition, the Chancellor’s Student Research Scholars have been selected and the notifications will be made soon. Those selected as a Chancellor’s Student Research Scholar will still receive their stipends before the end of the semester.

Postponed: 2020 Student Creative Arts and Research Symposium

The 23nd Annual Student Creative Arts and Research Symposium will be held on Tuesday, April 14, and Wednesday, April 15, on the Denton Campus. The Student Symposium highlights research and scholarly activities of undergraduate and graduate students across many departments and colleges. In addition to the platform and poster presentations by TWU students, the student symposium features special sessions showcasing student research, the Chancellor's Student Research Scholars, the scholarship of the graduate council awardees, and a keynote speaker.
