TWU Connect is the university-wide database used for posting on-campus student jobs, work-study positions, off-campus part and full-time jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities. Students and alumni can also use TWU Connect to find information on upcoming seminars and workshops.
Students and alumni wishing to meet individually with a Career Consultant need to do so through the TWU Connect system as well.
Students – On the log-in screen, click “Log-in with Texas Woman’s University account” and use your portal username and password. For help with the system, please visit Handshake’s support for students.
Alumni – On the log-in screen, click “Log-in with Handshake account.” You must register using a twu.edu or alumni.twu.edu email address to be approved. Go to the TWU Alumni Mail page to learn more about the alumna email. For help, please visit Handshake’s support for alumni.
Employers – On the log-in screen, click “Log-in with Handshake account” and log-in using your email and Handshake password. For help getting started, visit Handshake’s support for employers.
The TWU Career Connections Center makes no representation concerning persons seeking employment from, or the jobs posted on, the Career Connections Center website, bulletin boards and TWU Connect system.
While the Career Connections Center makes every effort to prevent fraudulent job postings, it is not immune to occasional scams. You may encounter fraudulent job opportunities when searching for jobs on the Career Connections Center website and/or the bulletin boards; you may also receive fraudulent email that has been forged to make it appear as if it came from a reputable company. Use common sense, if it looks fraudulent, do not reply and report it to the Career Connections Center immediately.
PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION and AVOID SCAMS:
- Never provide any social security, credit card or bank account numbers to prospective employers over the phone or electronically, including via instant messages or chat.
- Refuse background/credit checks until you have met the employer in person.
- Never wire funds (e.g. Western Union) — anyone who asks you to do so is a scammer.
- Beware of fake cashier’s checks & money orders — banks will hold you responsible.
In many cases, an account may already exist for your organization. Please make sure to check this prior to creating a new one. Newly created accounts will be activated, pending approval, within 1–2 business days. All job and internship postings require approval by a TWU staff member prior to activation. We may follow up with you to get information prior to activating your position.
