Prior to joining the faculty at Texas Woman’s University in 2005, Professor Hyde gained valuable experience in various HR generalist roles in the manufacturing, non-profit and higher education industries and as a manager in the retail industry. She has had responsibilities in recruitment and selection, legal compliance, onboarding, safety, benefits management, employee relations, and employee training and development.
Along with her master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Professor Hyde is a Senior Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resources Management. She completed her doctoral studies in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management at the University of Texas at Arlington with research interests in positive organizational scholarship, work-nonwork issues, role resources and demands, and diversity and identity issues. Her current undergraduate courses include Human Resources Management, Legal Issues in Human Resources Management, Management of Compensation, and Labor Management Relations. She supports our student chapter of Society of Human Resource Management at TWU as one of the faculty advisors.
