Earth Day 2019

Please join us for us for TWU’s Earth Day Celebration

Wednesday, April 24 – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Ann Stuart Science Complex Lobby*

The event will include tours of the EPA sponsored Butterfly Garden project and a tabling event with participation from:

  • City of Denton Sustainability
  • Trinity Forks Native Plant Society
  • Denton County Beekeepers
  • TWU sustainability initiatives
  • UNT Stream Ecology/Restoration
  • And more!

The first 120 people to visit all the tables will win a special TWU Earth Day T-Shirt. 

We look forward to sharing with you the sustainable efforts that are taking place on our campus and in our community. 

*The location for this event has been changed from the Dr. Bettye Meyers Butterfly Garden due to inclement weather.
