International Application Deadlines

TermPreferred Application DeadlineFinal Application Deadline
Summer February 1st March 1st
Fall March 1st May 1st
Spring July 1st October 1st
  • Applicants are encouraged to apply by the preferred application deadline to provide ample time for the admission review, obtain foreign documentation, and process visa information. Admission granted to F1 visa holders will be contingent on meeting the immigration deadlines
  • Graduate program deadlines may be earlier than the international application deadline. Contact the graduate department of your intended program of study for departmental requirements and deadline information.

F1 and J1 Visa Holders

In order to ensure compliance with requirements set by the Department of Homeland Security certain restrictions apply to applicants that intend to pursue studies on an F or J visa. F and J visa holders:

  • are not eligible to enroll in fully online degree programs. The issuance of I-20s for fully online programs is restricted by DHS
  • must begin their course of study during the fall or spring term unless the program of study only begins during the summer
  • must meet the Office of International Education’s immigration deadline. Applicants may be required to defer their admission if the deadline is not met
  • must be able to provide a Certification of Finances upon acceptance to TWU

After You’re Accepted

There are only a few more steps to finish up the paperwork, get connected, register for orientation, apply for financial aid, etc.
