All policies are subject to change by the university without prior notice according to established processes. Changes will become effective as determined by the appropriate University authority. To the extent that any of these policies should conflict with state or federal laws, such laws, where applicable, shall prevail.
In some instances, a policy may not be applicable to all employees due to provisions of state law. It is not feasible to specifically set forth every exception to policy required by the Texas Code. Thus, for ease of administration, these TWU policies are written as if applicable to all university employees. When questions regarding policy arise, either the appropriate Vice President, “policy owner,” or “policy contact” should be consulted.
