Congratulations to Ms. Brianna Casey, Write Site lead tutor, for winning the 2012 Mary Nell Kivikko Excellence in Scholarship Award! This yearly award honors outstanding scholarship in the subject area of writing center theory and practice for the South Central Writing Centers Association region (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana). Ms. Casey presented her paper, "The Potential & Importance of Technology Literacy in Writing Center Theory & Practice," on April 20th at the spring meeting of the North Texas Writing Center Association.
