About the Program

The painting program at Texas Woman's University provides a strong foundation of basic techniques and concepts while developing critical thinking skills and original imagery. Undergraduate Painting majors may choose either the Bachelor of Arts or the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree culminates in an exhibition in the East | West Galleries.
The Master of Arts and the Master of Fine Arts are offered at the graduate level. The Master of Fine Arts degree also culminates in an exhibition in the East | West Galleries.
