Donna Ferrato speaks at TWU
In a collaborative sponsorship, PiD and PAC hosted photographer and photojournalist Donna Ferrato. Ferrato presented her work in a traveling exhibition and book, Living with the Enemy, which educates viewers about issues surrounding women and domestic abuse.
Ferrato rode with police to obtain some of the photos. “Much of the book was born out of frustration,” she writes. “First, because I felt powerless in the face of the violence I had seen, and second, because for a long time no magazine would publish the pictures.”
