The Virginia Chandler Dykes endowed scholarship fund has been established to attract the best and brightest graduate students to TWU. Scholarship awards will be given annually, and the recipients will share his or her research at the annual award ceremony. In 2009, four winners will be selected, one each from the  College of Health Sciences, College of Nursing, College of Arts and Sciences, and the College of Professional Education.

The proceeds from the award luncheon are split between the Virginia Chandler Dykes endowed scholarship fund in the School of Occupational Therapy, and the winning recipients in each of the four colleges.
