TWU Fall Festival Open To Community

TWU Fall Festival Open To Community
10/8/02
DENTON Ghoul power will reign at Texas Woman's
University Oct. 30 as the Student Center hosts a Fall Festival
that is open to the community. The festival will be from 6-8:30
p.m. in the Student Center, located at the intersection of
Administration Drive and Bell Avenue. Admission and all
activities are free.
Children and their parents will be able to trick-or-treat;
play carnival games such as ring toss, hole-in-one and bob for
apples; visit a haunted house; participate in a costume contest;
and take a hayride. The costume contest is limited to children
ages 12 and younger, but all other festival activities are open
to all children.
"We want to provide a safe trick-or-treating alternative
to the Denton community," said Kyle Voyles, Student Center
director. "Last year we had phenomenal community
participation."
For more information on the festival, call (940) 898-3641.
