TWU to offer online master's degree in special education

7/26/13

DENTON — Texas Woman’s University’s master of education (MEd) degree program in special education will be available in a hybrid format beginning this fall. A hybrid format is one that is predominately online, with some on-campus courses.

The 36-hour degree program is designed to prepare those in the special education field to provide effective services to students with disabilities. The hybrid delivery format will enable TWU to meet the needs of a growing non-traditional market with more flexibility in scheduling, as well as structure and format.

For more information on the degree program, visit www.twu.edu/teacher-education/special-education.asp.

The addition of this program brings TWU’s online degree program offerings to 32. For more information on TWU online programs, visit www.twu.edu/tlt.
