TWU's Houston Center welcomes prospective transfer and graduate students to Feb. 4 open house

HOUSTON — Texas Woman’s University will host an open house for prospective transfer and graduate students on Saturday, Feb. 4 from 8 a.m. to noon at the TWU Institute of Health Sciences-Houston Center.

TWU’s Houston open house is geared for upper-division nursing students and graduate students in nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, healthcare administration, nutrition and the Executive MBA program.

Prospective students and their guests will have the opportunity to meet faculty and students and attend sessions on admissions, financial aid, student life and more. Information sessions are scheduled until noon, and a free continental breakfast will be served.

Prospective students also could win $1,000 to be applied to fall 2012 tuition and fees at TWU. Two awards of $1,000 each will be presented to one transfer and one graduate student at the Houston Open House. Students must be eligible for admission to TWU to claim the awards.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. in the foyer of TWU’s Institute of Health Sciences-Houston Center, located in the Texas Medical Center at 6700 Fannin St. Parking is available in the adjacent TWU Methodist Garage, with entrance on Main Street. Participants are responsible for their own parking fees.
