Turkish Consul to speak on TWU’s Denton campus

DENTON —
Akil Öktem, Consul of the Turkish Consulate in Houston,
will discuss Turkey's current relationships with the U.S.
and Europe and share his vision about global challenges in
a presentation Friday, Oct. 16 at Texas Woman’s University.
TWU’s School
of Management in the College of Arts and Sciences and the
World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth are co-sponsoring
the lecture, which is free and open to the public. The talk
will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. in room 202 of the Classroom
Faculty Office (CFO) building on TWU’s Denton campus.
