TWU presents “Boo at the U” Oct. 29
10/12/09
October 12, 2009
- DENTON — Treats, train rides, carnival games and a
haunted house will be part of Texas Woman’s University’s
“Boo at the U” Fall Festival Thursday, Oct. 29
from 6 to 8 p.m. at the TWU Student Union, located at Bell
Avenue and Administration Drive.
Admission is free
and open to the community. For information, call (940) 898-3641.
More than 3,000
children attend the festival each year, which includes “trunk-or-treating”
— TWU’s version of trick-or-treating. Cars decorated
for the season will line the horseshoe driveway between TWU’s
clock tower building and the Student Union and treats will
be given away from their trunks.
“We hope
the Denton and TWU communities make plans to bring their children,
neighbors and friends to the festival and join us for a night
of fun,” said Kyle Voyles, director of the TWU Student
Union.
