  • Give Carrie Gartman all word files and photos.
  • Discuss with Carrie the placement of the stories and photos in the template you selected.
  • Carrie will provide you with a cost estimate for typesetting and/or printing the newsletters before any work is done. You are not committed to the project until/unless you accept the estimate.
  • Carrie will take your text, photos and placement suggestions to a typesetter, who will place your stories and photos in the newsletter template.
  • The typesetter will email a PDF proof to you for review. At this time, you will have the opportunity to make revisions and/or changes.
  • All newsletters must be reviewed by the Office of Marketing and Communication before being emailed, published on the internet or printed. Please allow a minimum of two working days for us to review your newsletter. Also allow time for revisions to be made if necessary. You may email a pdf version to cbarnes@twu.edu and ssponsler@twu.edu or send a hard copy to the Office of Marketing and Communication, Attn. Carolyn Barnes and Susan Sponsler.
  • Generally departments, colleges and schools are responsible for paying all costs for the newsletters, whether printed or electronic. However, partial funding may be available for newsletters that are used to recruit new students.
