Guinn & Stark Residence Halls (GSH)

Guinn Hall

Stark Hall

The 21-story Stark Hall, completed in 1967, was the first skyscraper in the city of Denton. At 24 stories tall, Guinn Hall was the tallest residence hall in the nation when it was completed in 1969. The two towers are connected by the Commons, which provides space for larger social functions, recreational activities and study. A computer lab for residents of both Stark and Guinn halls also is available in the Commons, as is The C-Store, a retail operation that sells convenient foods, beverages and health and beauty items. The C-Store also houses a Bene' Pizzeria with a Late Night menu and offers “Grab & Go” sandwiches and salads.
