What is the Campus Activities Board (CAB)?

Campus Activities Board Bee logoThe Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a programming board for Texas Woman's University and a branch of the Student Government Association (SGA). CAB sponsors events and activities implemented by and for students of all backgrounds. The programs take into account the vast population of students, faculty and staff ranging from non-traditional to traditional, students with families and students who live off campus.

Spring Fling

Spring FlingJoin CAB and House of Representatives for TWU's annual SPRING FLING! Dress your best 90s theme! Must be appropriate attire.

When: Wednesday, April 9, 2014

Time: Golf cart parade kickoff at 3:30 PM, novelties and fun from 4:00-7:00 PM

Where: Hubbard Hall Lawn

Certain activities require tickets (trucker hats, tumblers, keychains, Ms. Piggy's, and license plates). Visit the Spring Fling Information Booth during the event (middle of the lawn) to pick up your tickets. One novelty ticket and two Ms. Piggy's food tickets per person with a TWU ID. First come, first serve. Lines open at 4:00 PM on the dot. You cannot stand in line during the golf cart parade.


Take Back the Night


When: Tuesday, April 15, 2014

Where: CFO 203

When: 7:00 PM

 CAB and Project Rev present Take Back the Night, an event to raise awareness about sexual assault and domestic violence. The event features special guest speaker, Teri Jendusa Nicolai, whose ex-husband tried to murder her and is now in jail for the rest of his life. She will tell you the warning signs, her story, and how to get help or help others.

The event starts with the speaker presentation followed by an awareness march.

    The Stingers are valued CAB volunteers that help with all of CAB's event. If you enjoy planning events of all kinds or are looking for great leadership opportunity you should consider becoming a Stinger!
  • Committees
    CAB is comprised of 5 sub-committees that plan a variety of activities. These committees include: Films, Concerts, Hot Topics, Roads, and Themes.
