The deadline to submit Research Enhancement Program applications has now passed.  However, signed coversheets from all applicants must be submitted before the Research Support Committee meeting.   

Application materials for the 2016 - 2017 Research Enhancement Program (REP) are now available. Proposals are due via SharePoint by 5:00 pm Thursday, April 28, 2016.

The primary purpose of the REP is to provide seed money (up to $10,000) so that faculty members will be able to compete more successfully for larger research grants from external sources for continuation of their research. The REP provides support for all types of faculty research. All full-time tenured faculty, research faculty, and tenure-track faculty members at TWU are eligible to apply and serve as PI and co-investigators.  Tenured and research faculty will be evaluated separately from tenure-track faculty who are not yet tenured (thus considered a "new investigator") with funds being designated separately for each group. TWU will hold two competitions for 2016-2017 funding for the REP. Awards funded from this competition (April 28 deadline) will begin September 1, 2016. Complete program guidelines are available and applications must be submitted using the SharePoint site.
