Description of research activities: Dr Warren is interested in the interface between public health and the food industry, particularly in the area of access, affordability and acceptability of nutrient-dense foods. The focus of my current work is to better understand how to increase the consumption of fruits, vegetables and whole grain foods by children, adults and families. I also conduct intervention studies using design-based research methods in communities and schools to increase diet quality and maintain healthy weight.
