What is the Center for Qualitative Inquiry?

The Center for Qualitative (CQI) is a specialty lab designed to assist faculty and graduate students in constructing their learning about computer assisted qualitative data analysis software. The CQI is a self-service center with support. Graduate assistants are available to answer questions about hardware and software capabilities.

The purposes of the Center are threefold:

• To support instruction of qualitative research at the graduate level.
• To provide access to high-end software and hardware as well as user support to faculty and graduate students.
• To nurture a growing multidisciplinary interest in qualitative research at TWU by opening up dialogue with others engaged in qualitative research endeavors.
