PIONERAS was recognized by Excelencia in Education

PIONERAS is a 2.2 million dollar scholarship and research project dedicated to enhancing the Spanish language competencies, content and pedagogical knowledge, and family engagement skills of eligible students:

TWU undergraduate students in the EC-6 Bilingual Program, Pre-service Pioneras;

Teachers of record in dual language classrooms in 12 participating Denton Independent School District schools, In-service Pioneras.
