| Professional Interests: |
I work as the Supplemental Learning Lab (SLL) coordinator. In this role, I coordinate laboratory learning experiences for professional DPT students. In addition to the SLL position I continue to work in the clinic setting developing a Vestibular Rehabilitation specialty within general outpatient orthopedics. In June 2013 I will be entering the tDPTprogram. I have a special interest in dysfunctional breath patterns and their impact on pain perception and movement dysfunction. I completed a 250 hour basic Yoga Teacher Training program 10 years ago and incorporate eastern movement concepts of Tai Chi, Yoga and QiGong within my practice. My husband and I recently moved to Texas from Florida in June 2012. We enjoy biking, kayaking and Stand up Paddle ( SUP) boarding. We have 2 children Amanda and Allison and our dog Bella. |
