TWU Phi Kappa Phi Member Meeting: Service Projects Discussion
One of this year’s initiatives of the Executive Committee includes a more purposeful focus on service to TWU and the local community, that aligns closely with the Society mission service component. To that end, we are investigating opportunities for service projects within the institution and local community.
Phi Kappa Phi's mission is, "To recognize and promote academic excellence in all fields of higher education and to engage the community of scholars in service to others."
The Phi Kappa Phi Executive Committee seeks member input and ideas for our 2013-14 service projects initiative. Projects that emphasize a scholarly/academic focus will receive highest priority (i.e., a literacy project, an academic mentoring project, etc.); however, all ideas and suggestions will be considered.
We invite you to join us Monday, October 21st from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on the Denton campus in Student Union 111 for a discussion of the chapter service projects initiative.
