     TWU COURSE AUDITS

 

Students will be charged to audit according to the student’s residency classification (i.e. in-state, out-of-state, undergraduate or graduate) and the number of course credit hours.  The total cost to audit a class will include:

  • Tuition, including Board Authorized Tuition
  • Computer Use Fee
  • Library Use Fee
  • Course Fee

 

Any person 65 years of age or older may audit classes without charge providing there is space available.  Information may be secured

in the Registrar’s Office.

 

The following information may be helpful in your decision to audit a class or to take it for credit: 

  • The auditor may not participate in the laboratory part of a course or in a studio, practicum, workshop, or activity course.
  • Attendance as an auditor may not be made the basis of a claim for course credit.
  • Audited courses are not recorded on the student’s permanent record.
  • Distance Education classes may not be audited.

 

How to apply to audit:

  • Permission to audit a class must be obtained after the first class day of a semester or term.
  • Obtain an Audit Slip from Registrar’s Office or print by linking here:

  • Obtain Instructor approval/signature on slip
  • Take approved audit slip to Bursar’s Office for calculation and payment of audit fees.
    • The charges must be paid in full at the time of the request.
    • The audit slip will be stamped paid at the time of payment.
  • Take one copy of the paid audit slip to the Registrar’s Office
