Texas Woman's Nutrition & Food Sciences department has several student organizations that provide you with professional growth opportunities and accomplishments - resulting in a more impactful college experience.
Food & Nutrition Network
Purpose: The TWU FNN is a student-led organization open to students in all Nutrition and Food Sciences programs. The group focuses on:
- Networking with fellow students, faculty and food and nutrition professionals
- Providing leadership opportunities and professional development through meetings with guest speakers and membership with professional organizations
- Performing community service
- Sponsoring the Pioneer Pace 5K Run/Walk
Dues: $15 per semester ($30 annually)

NFS Graduate Club
Purpose: The NFS Graduate Club is an organization for all interested Nutrition and Food Sciences graduate students. Its purpose is to promote nutrition awareness and healthful eating practices to the TWU, Denton and Dallas/Fort Worth communities. The club meets monthly to hear guest speakers, plan service events and network with faculty, researchers, practitioners and experts in industries related to nutrition and dietetics.
Dues: $20 per year
Location: Denton Campus

Nutrition Graduate Student Association
Purpose: This association meets monthly and provides opportunities for graduate students to:
- Explore various career paths in nutrition and food sciences
- Promote healthy eating among university students
Dues: $10 per year
