Nursing Health Systems Management


The Masters degree in Nursing Health Systems Management prepares professional nurses to assume leadership roles in the complex and diverse environment of health services. The program provides students with nursing, health care administration and business skills essential for success as nursing executives and leaders.

Course Work

  • Emphasis on Fiscal, Organizational and Outcomes assessment competencies for nurse leaders
  • Program length: 42-45 hours including 17 hours in selected in minor
  • Minor Courses:
    1. Health Care Administration (Houston Center only) 50% online
    2. Business (available on all campuses) 100% online with some optional face to face courses
