Texas Woman's University College of Nursing offers a 100% online master’s in nursing education.  This unique 36 credit hour program is designed to allow the student to attend all classes online from the convenience of their home. Full-time students complete in just 3 semesters; part-time attendance is permissible.  Students complete core courses in theory and research, course design and instruction, teaching technologies, measurement of learning, and curriculum evaluation.  Included are practica experiences where the student implements the role of the nurse educator at an approved facility near home.  Opportunities exist for students to work alongside our experienced TWU nursing faculty in our highly acclaimed simulation laboratories. The program of study culminates in a student designed capstone project in a select area of nursing education.

Contact the various coordinators on the campus of your choice: Denton - Pat Jones pjones@twu.edu,  Dallas - Dr. Sherry Carter scarter1@twu.edu, or  Houston - Dr. Brenda Binder bbinder@twu.edu.
