Bachelor of Science Program
Welcome to the Texas Woman's University, College of Nursing Dallas undergraduate program. The TWU College of Nursing offers a four-year curriculum leading to a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing. Students may apply to complete the last two years of their four year degree at the Dallas or Houston Centers.
The undergraduate program at the Dallas Center, Parkland Campus' offers students the opportunity to experience excellence in nursing education at our campus located next to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Parkland Hospital, and Children’s Medical Center. Students learn about the complex role of the professional nurse in our state-of-the-art simulation skills lab and practice those skills at a wide variety of health care facilities throughout the DFW area. After two years of intensive nursing education in theory and practice, graduates are eligible to apply to take the licensure examination for registered nurses.
We welcome you to tour our campus and attend a group advising program to answer your questions about TWU and nursing. If you would like to visit the Dallas center or schedule an appointment, please call Janice Anderson, our Admissions Coordinator, at 214-689-6566.
Nursing is an incredibly rewarding and exciting career. The demand for registered nurses, in light of the current nursing shortage, ensures a secure future for the professional nurse. We invite you to apply to the College of Nursing, Dallas Center to begin the journey
