Application Process

The application process involves three steps: apply first to TWU and after acceptance schedule to take the nursing entrance test. The final step is application to the College of Nursing. All correspondence regarding your College of Nursing application will be through your TWU email address, with the exception of letters of acceptance or regret.

  1. TWU Application
Students must have all of their TWU admission mateirals submitted (received by) TWU no later than Been admitted to TWU using the Texas Common Online (Apply Texas) application. In order to qualify for admission to the upper division program the student must be admitted to TWU.  Thus, the student must complete the "Apply Texas" application and submit all transcripts from prior schools to: Student Records, P.O. Box 425649, Denton, TX 76204. Because it takes approximately 6 weeks for the admssion to TWU to be completed, we urge students to apply early - at least 6 weeks prior to the College of Nursing application deadline of September 1 or February 1.

  2. HESI A2 Application (NET Test no longer accepted as of February 1, 2009)

  3. College of Nursing Application
The College of Nursing application for Admission to Upper Division Nursing is available in the student's Pioneer Portal account, in the My Tools Section.
