TexShare Cards

TWU students, staff, and faculty may request a TexShare Card from Circulation, which allows them to borrow items from numerous libraries throughout the state of Texas. TexShare Card Holders are subject to each institution's rules and regulations when borrowing materials. Please check hours and policies prior to making a special trip to a participating site. Lending policies for participating institutions are posted on the TexShare home page (http://www.texshare.edu).

TexShare Cards are also made available to Distance Learning students. For additional information, contact Distance Learning at libde@twu.edu. TWU students, staff, and faculty can apply online for a TexShare Card by using the Request Library Services. You may also use this form to renew your TexShare Card, which expires at the end of every semester.

OCLC Cards

The Online Computer Library Center and the Association for Research Libraries have developed a program that allows full-time faculty members of participating institutions borrowing privileges and on-site access to library collections of member institutions throughout the United States. Full-time teaching faculty members and librarians may obtain an OCLC Card and a list of member institutions from the Circulation Department in Blagg-Huey Library.
