Curated by the Woman's Collection Staff
The Women in Black History exhibit celebrates Black History Month by showcasing the struggles and triumphs of African-American Women in the pursuit of freedom and equality in the United States. Spanning the years from the early Abolition movements through contemporary times, this exhibit pulls unique materials from the Woman's Collection as well as the general collection of the TWU Libraries that illustrate the lives and accomplishments of African American women throughout U.S. history.
