LeaderShape

LeaderShape is a National conference designed to inspire, develop and enhance leadership skills.  The Program consists of six days of intense leadership training with collegiate students from across the nation.  The following testimonies include some of the lessons our students learned from attending LeaderShape.

LeaderShape has made me realize what kind of person I want to be in life. I want to be  able to give an account of what needs to happen and become one with a vice of honesty and responsibility.  I want to create mentoring programs, send resources to countries that live in poverty and start a feminist organization to create awareness.”

“During LeaderShape we were able to discuss some challenging goals that will result in a breakthrough toward our ideal future.  I want to increase the amount of foreign exchange and study abroad programs for students at the high school level.  I also want to increase the amount and variety of multicultural classes in middle and high school curriculums.  LeaderShape gave me the opportunity to share my goals with other collegiate students.”

“One of the things that we discussed at LeaderShape was the type of person that we would like to be. I want to live a life in which my actions and values are consistent and congruent. My vision is to establish a magnet or prep school for minority youth and children from underprivileged poor families in the inner-city. I want to give them the opportunity to be educated in the best environment that will prepare them to go to college and excel.”
