The International Education Office provides various program and activities for international students attending TWU. Through the experience of these programs, TWU's international students share their wonderful and unique experience with faculty, staff, and American students. The International Education Office also provides continuous immigration information for new and current international students.

Thursday Lunch

Chrysanthemum Tea 

This TWU tradition began in the early 1980's.  The Chrysanthemum Tea recognizes the TWU international community and educates the community about various cultures.

Study Abroad Information Session

The International Education Office sponsors a Study Abroad Information Session and invites various faculty members and approved study abroad organizations to display their unique study abroad programs to TWU's students. Thanksgiving and Picnic Celebration with Global Interact

In conjunction with TWU and UNT, Global Interact provides TWU and UNT international students an opportunity to celebrate and experience an American Thanksgiving. The program includes a traditional turkey, dressing, an array of vegetables, breads, rolls and desserts. Members of the Global Interact prepare and serve the food for the event and act as host and hostess.

SPRING ACTIVITIES

American Picnic in the Park 

International students are invited by TWU, Global Interact, & UNT to North Lakes Park (transportation provided) and experience a fun day of food, kite flying, games and more!

International Festival

Celebrate international culture with the TWU community! Food, dancing, exhibitions, study abroad information, fashion parade and more!
