Join us for Fall 2013 International Orientation August 19, 2013
Welcome! We are very pleased that you have decided to study at the largest university primarily for women in the United States-Texas Woman's University. At TWU, we celebrate a diverse student population. Our enrollment consists of students from practically every state in the US and 68 foreign countries. You will find our campus environment to be warm, enthusiastic, and supportive of your academic endeavors.
In order to help you make a successful transition to Texas Woman's University, the Office of International Education has designed an orientation program Freshman, Transfer and Graduate international students. This program will acquaint you with your new environment, as well as introduce you to current students, faculty, administrators and staff. The program will explain how to stay in status with immigration, health insurance, financial assistance, housing options and meal plans,... as well as the many services, facilities, recreational and cultural activities, and other opportunities available to TWU students. You will also take placement tests (if necessary), tour the campus, register for classes, and become acquainted with Denton. And, of course, you will make some new friends!
