Teaching/Consulting

Taught APE content related to assessment, programming, activity modification for pre-service students in pedagogy and exercise science since 1985. Consulted with the Indiana State Department of Education to develop new combined teacher licensing in PE & APE which is standards based (NASPE and APENS) 2005-2007.

Principle investigator on research projects to include but not limited to the following topical areas: paraeducator training in APE, use of whole body vibration on bone density in SCI, training profiles of athletes with disabilities, biomechanical analysis of wheelchair propulsion, and use of distance learning and telecommunication.
