The purpose of the Texas Woman's University Wellness Program is to foster the adoption of a wellness culture that promotes the benefits of improved health. This benefit went into effect September 1, 2010.
A special thanks the Staff Council for all their work on a proposal to implement a workplace wellness and exercise program. The proposal would allow employees up to 30 minutes per day, three times per week to participate in wellness activities in conjunction with their lunch break. The proposal has been accepted by the Cabinet, and the procedures for implementation of this benefit have been developed.
