Houston Commencement Update!

The Houston Campus will not be issuing tickets for our Spring Commencement which will be held on May 11, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Rice University, Tudor Fieldhouse.  Seating will be done on a first come, first served basis.  For additional information please contact The Enrollment Services Coordinator, Ms. Cheryl Holcombe at 713-794-2320.

Medical World Americas Conference

Medical World Americas will host a Conference and Expo scheduled for April 28 - 30, 2014, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. As part of the event, participants will receive access to the Medical World Americas exposition, an expansive showcase of hundreds of state-of-the-art medical devices, technologies, products and services, providing them with a comprehensive view of the future of the industry.

Redbud Award

Dr. Charlene Adams-Mahaley, the Admissions Counselor at the Houston Health Science Center was awarded the Redbud Outstanding Staff Award on April 14, 2014.  The award is a symbol of achievement and recognition for her dedicated service and excellence  We applaud Dr. Mahaley for her teamwork, commitment and for providing outstanding service to students. 

Texas Woman's University Libraries are pleased and proud to announce that Marilyn Goff, medical librarian for the Houston campus since 2000, has been named the recipient of the 2014 Texas Woman's University Award for Outstanding Contribution to TWU Libraries.  We all join in applauding Ms. Goff for her continued contribution to TWU.
