Honors Courses

Smaller, more stimulating classes offer students the chance to interact with some of TWU's talented professors.

NET (Neighbors Educated Together)

Freshman honors students have the option of joining the NET program, a living learning community that provides academic support and social programs.  Students live together on an honors floor, take classes together, and even have group study sessions.

Opportunities to work with a faculty mentor

Through Honors Contracts and Capstone Projects honors students have the unique experience of working one on one with professors in their field of study.

Travel Abroad

The honors program hosts a trip annually to destinations such as Italy, Greece, Germany, France, Spain, and Ireland.  In partnership with a travel abroad class, students earn three hours of honors credit and study the art, history, culture, and literature of the destination.
