Online Orientation & Webinar for HS Undergraduate Online Students

The Department of Health Studies no longer hosts mandatory First Class Meetings for new and returning students.  However, completion of the new “HS Online Orientation” modules located in Blackboard's HS Online Lounge, along with a 1-hour Wimba chat is mandatory for all NEW undergraduate majors enrolled in ANY Health Studies online class must be completed one week prior to the first day of class.  If you do not have access to the above mentioned forum or have additional questions regarding this requirement, you may contact Ms. Cynthia Johnson, Program Director at 940-898-2857 or email cjohnson2@twu.edu. 

If you are also interested in meeting face-to-face with the department faculty, they will be available to personally meet with you on the TWU Denton campus, CFO Bldg, 10 Floor.  Please contact your individual instructor to schedule an appointment. 

Graduate Research Colloquium for Graduate Students

There is a one-day Graduate Research Colloquium scheduled during the beginning of each Summer semester on the TWU Denton Campus. Attendance is mandatory to the colloquium during the graduate student's first year in the program.
