You might be wondering what comes next? Below is a checklist of reminders and suggestions for preparing to attend TWU. Simply check off each step as you complete it to keep track of your progress.

TWU Pioneer |
Upon being admitted, you will be able to create a TWU Pioneer Portal account. Once you have created this account you will see on the main portal site your assigned TWU Email account information. The TWU Pioneer Portal & TWU Email serves as the official form of communication between you and TWU. |
| #2 | Academic Advising | Please call General Studies Advising at 940.898.3850 to schedule an appointment with your academic advisor who will help tailor your class schedule to your educational goals, personal schedule, and make sure youare on track for graduation. Appointments may be online, in person, or by phone. |
| #3 | Register for Classes | After speaking with an academic advisor you should register for classes. You may view the step-by-step General Studies Getting Started 101 guide to help you through the process. |

Payment deadlines are critical. Please make all payment arrangements before the payment deadline and review the Academic Calendar for specific deadlines. | #6 | Buy Your Books TWU Bookstore |
To purchase textbooks, you may visit the TWU Bookstore online, on campus, or access Get My Books through your Pioneer Portal tools. |

Get a Parking Permit |
Parking permits may be purchased at the Public Safety Office. You will need to have your TWU ID, your license plate number, and proof of vehicle ownership with you when you go to purchase a permit. The TWU Public Safety Office is located on the lower level of Hubbard Hall. |
