History
In 1905, nine graduates met with Beulah Kincaid, the only graduate of 1904, to organize the first association for the graduates of the College of Industrial Arts in Denton, Texas. On June 5th of 1905,the association was born. Over the years, the university's name has changed, but the graduates have remained faithful loyal supporters of its Alumnae Association.
The university has grown and prospered, progressing from the College of Industrial Arts to Texas State College for Women to Texas Woman's University. The Association has experienced change and commits to broadening its goals and objectives to better represent all the school's graduates.
