First-Year Student Orientation
The Summer Orientation dates for First-Year Students who are accepted for Fall 2015:

- Tuesday, June 15 - Wednesday, June 17, 2015
- Tuesday, June 22 - Wednesday, June 23, 2015
- Friday, July 31 - Saturday, August 1, 2015
- Tuesday, August 4 - Wednesday, August 5, 2015

First-Year Student Orientation is a two part program designed to help new students transition to campus. First-Year Student Orientation is required for all new students entering TWU with 12 or fewer college credit hours. Parents, family members and guests also encouraged to attend orientation and contribute to your success.
Once you have been admitted to the University, you will receive a TWU orientation brochure. In the brochure you will find a information about First-Year Student Orientation and directions to register online for orientation. You must be accepted to the university before we can reserve your spot at orientation.

Part One: New Student Orientation, During this 2-day program, you will meet students, faculty, administrators and staff who will assist you in choosing the field of study best suited to meet your educational, career and personal goals. You will also have the opportunity to tour the campus, meet with an academic advisor, register for classes, and become acquainted with campus life. You and your gusets will learn about academic programs, advising, financial assistance, and housing, as well as the many services, facilities, recreational and cultural activities, available to TWU students.
Part Two: Pioneer Camp, August 20-23, 2015. You will become acquainted with numerous TWU services that enable you to have a successful college experience. Before the first day of class, you will have met new classmates, participated in fun activities, and become comfortable with the campus.
Please note: All cancellations must be requested in writing two weeks prior to the date of orientation to the Center for Student Development in order to receive a refund totaling the amount you paid, minus $10 for administrative costs.
