Register for Fall 2015 Programs 

TWU Intramural Sports offers students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to participate in many sports and activities throughout the year.  Participants can continue playing their favorite sports or try a new activity for the first time.  Fitness & Recreation offers individual and team leagues such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football and many others each semester.  You can organize your own team or sign up as a free agent to be placed on a team. All skill levels are welcome!   

The Intramural Sports Program seeks to promote a healthy lifestyle through physical activity in a fun, competitive atmosphere.  Playing sports and being active is a great way to meet new people on campus. Join a league or tournament today!

 League & Tournament Information

Women's, Men's, and COED Flag Football League - This outdoor flag football league plays 7 on 7 with the maximum of 12 players per team. All games are played at the Intramural Field located off of University Drive and Frame St. COED league will start on September 14th and will be played Monday’s beginning at 6pm. Men’s and Women’s leagues will start on September 16th and will be played on Wednesday’s starting at 6pm. You can register as a free agent or get a group of friends together and create your own team. All skill levels are welcome! Cost: $5/TWU students, Fit & Rec members, or TWU Faculty/Staff

Women's, Men's, and COED Outdoor Soccer League - This is an outdoor soccer league that plays 7 on 7 with a maximum of 12 players per team. The COED league starts on September 15th and will be played on Tuesday’s beginning at 4:30pm. Men’s and Women’s leagues will start on September 17th and will be played on Thursday’s  starting at 4:30pm. All games are played at the Intramural Field located off of University Drive and Frame St. You can register as a free agent or get a group of friends together to create your own team. All skill levels are welcome! Cost: $5/TWU students, Fit & Rec members, or TWU Faculty/Staff

Dodgeball Tournament - If you can dodge a wrench then you can dodge a ball! This is a COED tournament with a minimum of 6 players per team and a maximum of 12 players. It will be played on Monday, 10/12 starting at 7pm in the Fit & Rec gym. You can register as a free agent or get a group of friends together to create your own team. All skill levels are welcome! Cost: $5/TWU students, Fit & Rec members, or TWU Faculty/Staff

Softball Tournament - This is a COED softball tournament with a minimum of 10 players per team and a maximum of 12 players. It will be played on Friday, 10/16  starting at 9am on the TWU softball field. You can register as a free agent or get a group of friends together to create your own team. There will a 4-team maximum and lunch will be provided. All skill levels are welcome! Cost: $5/TWU students, Fit & Rec members, or TWU Faculty/Staff

Recreational Volleyball League - Are you a beginner or intermediate volleyball player? If so, this league will be the best fit for you! This is a COED league that plays 6 on 6 with a maximum of 12 players on a team. All games are played in the Fit & Rec gym. You can register as a free agent or get a group of friends together to create your own team. All skill levels are welcome! Cost: $5/TWU students, Fit & Rec members, or TWU Faculty/Staff

Elite Volleyball League - Come hang with the best of them in our elite volleyball league! Elite volleyball is a COED league that plays 4 on 4 with a maximum of six players on a team. All games are played in the Fit & Rec gym. You can register as a free agent or get a group of friends together to create your own team. All skill levels are welcome! Cost $5/TWU students, Fit & Rec members, or TWU Faculty/Staff

Competitive Volleyball League - Are you an advanced volleyball player looking for good competition? If so, look no further! This is a COED league that plays 6 on 6 with a maximum of 12 players on a team. All games are played in the Fit & Rec gym. You can register as a free agent or get a group of friends together to create your own team. All skill levels are welcome! Cost: $5/TWU students, Fit & Rec members, or TWU Faculty/Staff

3 on 3 Basketball Tournament - You got game? Then come play in this one day basketball tournament that will be held in the Fit & Rec gym on Friday, 11/6 starting at 10am. This is a COED 3 on 3 basketball tournament with a maximum of 4 players per team, however you are not required to field a COED team. You can register as a free agent or get a group of friends together to create your own team. All skill levels are welcome! Cost: $5/TWU students, Fit & Rec members, or TWU Faculty/Staff

Battleship - Battleship is most popular sport to join the intramural sports program! Each ship (canoe) will consist of 3 teammates and they will be given buckets to use to sink other ships. The object is to be the last ship floating. Tournament will start at 6pm and be played at the Indoor Pool in Pioneer Hall. You can register as a free agent or get a group of friends together to create your own team. All skill levels are welcome!Cost: $20/TWU student, Fit & Rec member , or TWU Faculty/Staff

How to Register for Intramural Sports

Registration for all intramural sport programs takes place at the Student Recreation Center front desk.  Individuals without a team can register as a free agent.  

Sportsmanship Policy

In order to promote good sportsmanship, the intramural program has adopted a sportsmanship policy.  It is the responsibility of the team and players to make sure the game atmosphere is friendly and fun to both staff and fellow participants.
