There are a number of scholarships designated specifically for majors within The Department of English, Speech, and Foreign Languages, which have been made possible by generous donors.

To be considered for any scholarships, students must apply through the TWU Pioneer Scholarship System. Although awards change from year to year, below is a listing of some of the scholarships available. Once the online application process is initiated, students are provided with a list of the scholarships for which they may qualify. Some scholarships require additional information, such as writing samples, recommendation letters, and demographic information. Instructions for additional application requirements are listed within the individual scholarship application.

All questions and inquiries should be directed to Dr. Dundee Lackey (dlackey@twu.edu).

Submit all applications for departmental scholarships through the Pioneer Scholarship System, open until March 15th. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Please ensure that you attach all required documents to your application before the closing date.
